Neon Genesis Evangelion, a Japanese animation series that started in 1995, created a social phenomenon.
In 2025, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its broadcast, a new apparel brand called EVANGELION:95 will be launched on January 24th, with Neon Genesis Evangelion as its backdrop.
The 90s saw the rise of Japanese domestic brands. Styles like "Amekaji" (American casual), Harajuku fashion, and vintage and grunge fashion were popular and continue to influence today's trends.
EVANGELION:95 takes inspiration from the 1995 fashion scene, creating graphic items that stay true to the anime.
These items feature scene cuts, the series' title logo, and character illustrations.
The brand aims to express the high quality expected of an apparel brand―going beyond simple merchandise―through its unique designs, techniques, and ideas.
